A stylish 20th century 45 cm diameter Sorcerer style circular mirror with bevel edge and border of magnifying mirror circles. Wonderful in almost any scenario or room. Cream with a hint of green paint has given new life to this early 20th-century barley twist design candlestick pair. Lovely for those appreciating lighter interior details or for those looking for a contrast. They are 28.5 cm high x 13.5 cm diameter bases. They take standard dinner size candles. A vintage Swedish brass candle sconce has just arrived in the shop. I love these repousse design sconces with heart motif which create lovely reflective lights for creating mood lighting in dark corners. A pair of classical column Vine Twist design Royal Creamware ceramic candlesticks. Made in the 20th Century and beautifully 18th Century classic in style, they would look wonderful on a mantlepiece, dining or console table. The candlesticks are 22 cm high x 11 cm wide at the base. Pair of Swedish vintage brass candle sconces with a pretty leaf and grape repousse (beaten metal) design on each one. Full of character, they would look wonderful either side of a picture or mirror or as part of a gallery wall. Equally as romantic in a bathroom, bedroom, dining or sitting room. Vintage bow and swag etched design with sprinkling of stars onto crystal bon bon dish. Perfect for incidental lighting with a tea light (this is a large 5.5cm diameter tealight) or for serving or as a dressing table dish for jewellery. A pair of oval bevel edged mirror candle sconces which although mid-century in age have a bit of the art deco about them. That said, they would work with almost any decorating style creating reflective mood lighting. They are 35.5 cm high x 15 cm wide and have one small worn patch on the a bevel edge but other than that are in nice condition. Available now at £135 plus £7 shipping in my Etsy shop
Tablescaping
A very handsome antique Doulton Lambeth Silicon Ware (1881-1912) jug signed S.S. in a salt glaze stoneware complete with classical leaf motifs with central band of what looks like an acanthus design. It is 11.5 cm high x 8. 5 cm diameter. To purchase and for more information and images please see Etsy, £40 plus £5 shipping.
Pretty 19th Century English pink lustreware side plate. There is no makers mark but this floral and leaf design plate glints nicely in the light. It is 19 cm diameter and is £18 plus £5 shipping from my Etsy shop.
If you are able to overlook imperfection then you too might be able to love this exquisitely elegant set of 5 fruit knives and forks. I have no evidence to suggest this, but wonder if they were perhaps made in India in the early 20th Century from bone and a metal – possibly Indian silver.
Each piece has a double decorative cuff with English Rose, Scottish thistle and Irish Shamrock. The handles are bone and almost each one is cracked. They could be used with care or would be perfect as props. Available now, £15/set plus £5 shipping by contacting me direct.

A textural hammered pewter coffee pot with neatly woven rattan handle by Knightwood Old English from the early 20th century, it is in good condition and available on Etsy with more photos at £30 plus £5 shipping. The coffee pot is 17 cm high x 8.5 cm diameter.

I love how this Wedgwood china works with this bespoke Alhambra wallpaper designed by Flora Roberts for Lewis & Wood (who have both previously featured on the blog). Making an entrance
A vintage set of antlers mounted onto a sweet heart shaped wooden plaque. The plaque (30 cm w x 33 cm long) has two small screw holes at the top and also an additional hook on the back to attach to the wall. Each antler is approximatetly 47 cm long and the width between the two at its greatest is 42 cm. Perfect for hallways, for hanging hats, or for decoratively winding fairy lights around. £105 plus £11 shipping at Etsy.
Coastal style
I hope you like these calm, coastal inspired box canvas wall art I have designed and handmade. They can either sit on their own, as a duo of shell pictures or as part of your own gallery wall. An evocative vintage watercolour of a Cornish cove framed in a new bobbin frame with wallpaper mount. Painted around the 1950s, this was obviously a much loved spot for the artist. Size of frame is 33 cm long x 27.5 cm wide x 2 cm depth. Available now at £50 plus £7 shipping via Etsy.
This 19th Century metal travel trunk is an incredibly useful item of storage for all sorts of treasure. Perfect as a storage coffee table or for keeping things tidy in a boot room. Bobbin
A pair of early 20th-century wooden bobbin turned candlesticks are newly available at £70 plus £5 shipping in my Etsy shop. They are 11.5 cm diameter at each beautifully turned base and are 24.5 cm high with metal insert candleholders.
A very handsome Victorian oak bobbin turned leg (front legs only, back legs are plain) hall chair, otherwise known as a ‘groomsman chair’ is available on auction from £65 with collection from Reading on Ebay. It has been upcycled with smart chalk paint from Annie Sloan and you can see it in action on my Styling Box interior design service Instagram! A pretty 47 cm sq vintage (possibly 1940s) French textile cushion with 9 cm frill and feather pad included. There are two handsewn patches which gives this cushion a homely and cottagey feel. Available at £40 plus £7 shipping at Etsy.
